According to the survey of «Levada-centre» in January of this year, approval rating of Vladimir Putin’s work as the President of the Russian Federation amounted 82% of the number of Russian respondents, 45% of them believe that the country is moving in the right direction.
In June of last year 89% of respondents said the same, in November and December — 85% of the Russians. 18% of respondents do not approve the President in January, 1% of respondents found it difficult to answer.
In the rating of the most trustworthy politicians of Russia, Putin takes the first place — 58% of respondents. The second place in the rating of trust was taken by the Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu (26%), the third — by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov (20%), the fourth — by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev (16%).
45% of respondents are optimistic about the situation in Russia, 34% of respondents express the opinion that the country is moving in the wrong direction, according to the information of the survey of «Levada-centre». In October of last year, the situation in the country was approved by 61% of the Russians, 25% of respondents had the negative reaction.
The survey was conducted from 22 to 25 January 2016 among 1.6 thousand people in 48 regions of the country. The statistical error of the data of these studies does not exceed 3.4%.
